Material & Craft Specifications
Core Material: Main body is made of high-quality polyester satin, organza or grosgrain fabric; the gold edge part uses real woven metallic gold filaments integrated into the weft.
Craft Distinction: Authentic products embed gold threads directly during the weaving process, while low-cost alternatives only print gold color or apply foil finish on the surface.
Wired Edge Option: Most decorative styles add thin iron wires inside the gold edge, which allows the ribbon to be bent and shaped freely for wreaths and gift wrapping.
Appearance & Performance Parameters
Visual Feature: Authentic gold edges reflect a warm, coppery sheen under natural daylight, instead of a flat yellow or silver-blue tint.
Durability Performance: The gold edge will not dull or flake off after long-term indoor display, and can withstand 6 months of normal use and 2 dry cleanings without tarnishing.
Temperature Resistance: The golden edge cannot be ironed directly under temperatures above 110°C, otherwise it will melt or discolor.
Flexibility Test: When bent sharply, qualified woven gold edge will not crack or peel, which is a key difference from cheap painted gold edges.
